About us

Tuhura Toi is a new and upcoming local maori-owned entity , specialising in live events, song and dance. Tuhura Toi has been set up with a goal in mind to provide the highest quality entertainment experience to our audiences.

We provide our community with opportunities to participate in events and performances of various genres. This includes Karaoke and Quiz packages, social nights to birthday parties as well as events for schools and other corporate establishments.

We also provide dance programmes for local schools and promote the arts through our outreach programs with our well established choreographer Raukawa Tuhura.

Our vision for Tuhura Toi is to provide a fun, entertaining experience that connects people from all walks of life. We want all of our customers to leave with memories that will last a lifetime!

Our mission is to provide our guests with a unique and fun experience that will give them the chance to do something they have always wanted to do but never had the courage or the opportunity.

We want to create a place where people can come and celebrate life's special occasions and create memories that will last forever. We strive to create a friendly and welcoming environment for all our customers so that they can relax and enjoy their special occasion and have the time of their lives!

QUIZ-Z-OKE

Quiz and Karaoke party packages that can be custom made to your private function. All includes set up and our awesome team hosting the night!

CUSTOM MADE QUIZZES

Quizzes that can be custom made for the occasion. Whether it is a 21st birthday, 70s theme party or a wedding we will be able to tailor our quiz packages for everyone's needs.

KARAOKE

Karaoke that can be used mostly anywhere that has power and wifi! We provide karaoke hosts and a full stand alone set up of karaoke for the night even at your own house! Available for all private functions and events.

DANCE PROGRAMMES FOR SCHOOLS

Dance packages that are full of fun and learning! We have created our own dance syllabus from primary school to intermediate.

We can also collaborate with classes for any dance performances throughout the year and cater to the education curriculum so we can teach kids local iwi history through music and dance with a awesome show at the end of the term.

How to book us

Please email us 2 weeks ahead (or earlier) of your event/function to confirm booking. This is the latest we are able to book you as we do need to prepare. Any agreements or contracts will be sent to you via email upon your booking and will need to be signed to confirm your spot.

We will then have a meeting 1 week prior(or earlier) to the event to organize any information we need for any custom made services!
